An independent learning library devoted to Solana on-chain analytics and explorer reading, based in Buckinghamshire.
Registered business
Glow Grid Point Ltd is the official registered business name operating this learning library. We were established in 2021 after our founders noticed a gap between popular Solana introductions and the practical skill of reading ledger entries on public explorers.
Our history
The idea began informally in 2020 when Helena Marsh, then freelancing as a research assistant, started hosting monthly reading circles for friends who wanted to verify token announcements themselves. Marcus Reid joined after moving to Chesham and offered his living room for winter sessions. By 2021, regular attendance justified renting desk space at 340 Berkhampstead Road, where we printed the first edition of our explorer field notes.
We incorporated as Glow Grid Point Ltd in late 2021 to handle workshop bookings and venue hire cleanly. The Ledger Literacy Course launched in 2022; the On-Chain Analytics Clinic followed when participants asked for one-to-one time between course weeks. We remain a two-person core team with occasional guest readers from the local developer meetup scene.
What we believe
On-chain literacy is a craft learned by repetition with real transactions, not by watching dashboards update. We teach method: which explorer tab to open first, how to note slot numbers, when to distrust a holder ranking. We do not sell signals, tokens, or software subscriptions.
Our approach
Sessions are capped so every question gets airtime. We use printed handouts because explorer UIs change; the vocabulary and account model do not. Remote participants receive materials by post within the UK or PDF abroad. Homework is always optional but encouraged for course attendees.
The team
Helena Marsh leads workshops and writes most journal entries. She previously contributed research summaries for a regional tech policy group and has traced Solana programme activity since 2021.
Marcus Reid runs analytics clinics and maintains the field notes index. He co-organises a monthly Chesham coffee meetup where attendees practice reading failed transactions together.
Community ties
We sponsor one free seat per workshop for students enrolled in UK journalism or finance programmes who apply with a short statement of interest. We also donate outdated printed field notes to the Chesham library's reference shelf when editions refresh.
